BalloonPlot is a local-first application. Your engineering drawings are processed entirely on your own machine. We do not upload, store, or transmit your drawing files to our servers unless you explicitly use an AI feature that requires it (such as NVIDIA AI scanning). When AI features are used, image data is sent directly to the AI provider and is not stored by BalloonPlot.
Your account data is stored securely in an encrypted database. We use industry-standard security practices. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Our website uses essential local storage and session identifiers necessary for authentication and account security. In addition, third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) and analytics providers may use cookies and web beacons to serve advertisements based on prior visits, analyze visitor traffic, and measure ad engagement. You can manage or disable advertising cookies through your browser settings or via Google Ad Settings.
We use trusted third-party providers for payment processing and database hosting. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and do not have access to your drawing files.
